Dorothy Place was not the only project to receive money from the Bellingham Home Fund. Other projects that will receive help are:

Deer Run Terrace (BHA)

      1.      Modernization

Cornwall Housing (CHS)
Award: $362,000
Production Plans:
      1.      42-unit apartment building
      2.      32 of the units targeted for the homeless
Greggie’s House (Sun)
Award: $186,528
Production Plans:
      1.      Supportive house
      2.      Services to six people who are homeless and have a behavioral health diagnosis
Bakerview Family Housing (CHS)
Award: $1,533,737
Production Plans:
      1.      50, two and three bedroom units
      2.      Community building for tenants
      3.      Two playgrounds
      4.      Serve farm worker families that reside in Whatcom County and earn a minimum of $3,000 per year from agricultural work
Scattered Site Homebuyer Program (KCLT)
Award: $255,000
Plan:
      1.      Work with Habitat for Humanity to find home rehab projects
      2.      13 homes to be completed
